Due to poor attendance, I think they made some food and just put it under the warmers for a while, thus making it not look to appetizing. The restaurant (aka back half of Wired) is actually one of the next places I'll be hitting for a review so I'll get a better perspective. They had some bad pacing problems at their kitchen stand in festplatz. (If someone ordered a masala wrap they would take the time to make it and serve them before selling someone behind them the samosas they had ready to go under the heat lamps.) But I had a veg masala wrap that was ridiculously good. Just the right size for fest food and easy to eat while standing. Really good. You definitely missed out on Alandos. I mean, I know it's great to have it be crowded, but there are some times you can get it all to yourself and it just adds to the awesomeness of the ambiance. I recommend going at least one time, even if you don't think you'll enjoy it. And it's important to note that it's really not smoky.....
