Ah, the last day. It’s been a long, fun, and tiring week. Today’s your last chance to stuff your face full of fest food for a year, so get out there and get some corn, mangoes, shish kabobs, and get fat. While you’re stuffing your face, here’s some bands to check out:
South Side
Caravan of Thieves – performing from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Musikfest Cafe
These guys were a lot of fun last year in the cramped cinema venue, so they should be even better now that they have some room to spread out in the Musikfest Cafe. They bill themselves as a gypsy band and their shows are visually entertaining, laid back, and perfect for a lazy Sunday.
Brittany Ann – performing from 7pm to 7:40pm at Lyrikplatz
We’ve been seeing her play for years, starting at a now-defunct cafe in Bethlehem, and now every year at Musikfest. Her acoustic sets are filled with original songs and a few covers that, again, make for easy listening on a hungover day.
North Side
Eighteenth Hour – performing from 5pm to 6pm at Liederplatz
These guys have been around for quite a while in the Lehigh Valley music scene. Their radio-friendly rock has, over the years, become more and more honed. Last year they released their seventh album, “6”.
