Youell’s Oyster House, which was destroyed by a fire last year, has reopened at 2249 Walnut St in Allentown. After suffering a devastating fire, the Allentown staple struggled through the winter to finish construction, as chronicled on their Facebook page.
The new Youell’s features much of its previous menu, with a some consolidation of items that weren’t popular. The restaurant also has a variety of craft beers on draft as well as a wine list. The restaurant will also host pairing and tasting events and keep room on its menu for daily specials and chef’s specials.
We’re glad to see Youell’s back in business and wish them all the luck this year and beyond.
