Artsquest released their lineup for their first ever Indie music festival. On March 30th and 31st Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., RJD2, Jukebox the Ghost, and We Are Scientists will headline Nowadays, the name chosen for the new festival. Passes go on sale Friday at 10am and cost $49 for non-Artsquest members. On March 2nd the price will ride to $55 for non-Artsquest members. Single-day ticket information will be announced later depending on availability.
Between two stages the festival will feature 20 acts. Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., who played on late night show Conan last night, will be headlining on March 30th. DJ RJD2 will headline on March 31st. “Our audiences have been asking us for years to offer more indie rock”, commented Patrick Brogan, the VP of Performing Arts at Artsquest.
Radio 104.5, a Philly-based indie/rock station is supporting the festival through the media. This festival has a huge potential for success and is bringing in some great names that have been well-reviewed on the indie scene. The full line-up is below:
