South Side
Deaf Rhino – This NJ-based act rocks hard as hell and has been a fest favorite of mine since I first checked out their music. They’ve opened for the likes of the Deftones and Refused and they hit the TD Community Stage at 4pm.
North Side
Jakopa’s Punch – This ragtag band of local bandos form a marching band that includes a bassoon, a theremin (yes!) and more. Part of Touchstone Theatre, this wild group hits the stage at 3pm at Volksplatz.
Above the Mendoza – Old school pop punk. When I started listening to their songs I had serious flashbacks to high school listening to the likes of Yellowcard and New Found Glory. They play at 5pm and 6:30pm at Main Street
Maybird – Groovy, synth psychedelic rock. They’ve worked with Patrick Carney of The Black Keys and toured all over the east coast. They hit the stage at 6:30pm at Volksplatz.
