City Center, in a prepared statement today, said that the restaurant is schedule to open in August and will be a different concept than The Bayou, which is a Southern comfort food restaurant, and the former Federal Grill, a cigar bar and steakhouse.  The exact style of cuisine and name of the restaurant wasn’t announced.

In the statement, Taylor said, ““We’ve been following the progression of downtown Allentown from PPL Center to everything City Center is doing to redevelop the city, and we like the challenge of bringing an old space back to life.  We’re looking forward to adding a place to downtown Allentown  that’s fun, upbeat and lively with great food for people to share with family and friends at a price point that everyone feels is a good value.”
