Maxim’s 22 Opening Pushed to Friday, Pics & Menu Inside

Maxim’s 22, a French bistro at 322 Northampton St in Easton, will be opening their doors this Friday, October 12th, for their first lunch service.  The opening has been pushed back slightly from their original intended date.  We stopped in during a mock service recently to take a look at the new restaurant’s menu and drink list.  Check out photos of the interior below as well as listings of the food/drinks.   Hors D’oeuvres and raw bar ($6-$14+) Onion soup gratinee, steak tartare, escargot, charcuterie plate, baked brie en croute, moules, marinated French olives, marrow bones, Rillette tasting, crispy duck confit leg, Coquille St. Jacques, artisan cheese, oysters, little neck clams, crab mayo, shrimp cocktail, salmon tartare, and tuna tartare. Salads & Burgers ($7-$15) Maison (bibb, bacon, chopped egg, bleu cheese), Frisee au Lardons (poached egg), roasted beet salad (chevre, toasted walnuts, poached pear), grilled romaine Caesar (anchovies, crostinis), tuna nicoise (haricot vert, olives, fingerling potatoes), Maxim’s burger (foie gras, mushroom duxelle, raclette), Benedict burger (bacon, egg, béarnaise), bleu burger (Roquefort mousse, pear, red onion chutney), Pomeroy burger (classic). Entrees ($16-$28): Half roasted chicken (pommes puree, apple, pan jus), roasted salmon filet (green lentil salad, mustard aioli), ale-braised pork shank (pommes puree), cassoulet (duck confit, pork belly, saucisse, marrow bone), seared duck breast & confit (pomme fiash, cranberry gastrique), fluke Veronique (grapes, haricot vert, hazelnut brown butter), pan-seared dayboat scallops (butternut squash risotto, apple cider beurre blanc), lamb rack (goat cheese crepe, red onion chutney) Steaks ($19-$65): Steak frites (hangar, maitre d’butter), filet béarnaise (pomme puree), dry-aged ribeye, dry-aged strip, dry-aged cote du boeuf (for two). Sides ($4-$6): pommes frites, brussel sprouts, macaroni au gratin, haricot vert, sautéed wild mushrooms, grilled asparagus, pommes gratin The lunch/brunch menu includes duck confit, salmon rillette, quiche du jour, beef bourguignon, macaroni au gratin, steak frites, moules frites, cassoulet, salmon filet, croquet monsieur, French lamp dip, Kobe beef hot dog, French press, crepes, chicken crepes, smoked salmon benedicks, classic eggs benedict, brioche French toast, crab & Gruyere omelette, oatmeal crème brulee, ham/egg/gruyere on croissant, salmon rillette omelette, and a cheese plate.
