Indie Rock Band Modest Mouse will be kicking off a concert series at the Levitt Pavilion at Artsquest’s Steelstacks Campus on Wednesday, May 21st. The concert is part of a new “Yuengling Summer Concert Series” being put on by Artsquest.
The band formed in the early 90s, but didn’t find critical acclaim until their 2000 release of The Moon & Antarctica. Four years later the band released their seminal album Good News for People Who Love Bad News, which went on to sell over 1.5 million copies and spawned their biggest hit, “Float On.”
The band abruptly cancelled a tour last year to work on their new album, which has yet to be given a release date or official title. Tickets for the show are $40. Artsquest is also offering a premium package that includes food, beer, and soda on the Sands Deck for $99. Tickets go on sale March 14th at 10am.
