Broadway Social, the long-awaited restaurant and lounge set to replace the beleaguered Firehouse bar, is up for sale before even opening its doors.
The restaurant, owned by former Mama Nina’s proprietor Greg Salomoni, has been delayed by months. After a planned opening at the beginning of the year came and passed, the restaurant has posted sporadic updates as to its status. The restaurant officially received its liquor license approval in May and its kitchen was inspected by the health department in April.
A real estate listing touts the bar’s brand new decor, pricing it at $700,000. The real estate listing says the new bar seats 145 with room for an additional 70 on the patio, and includes a new LED lighting system, DJ booth, 10 TVs, and a liquor room.
A request for comment from the establishment went unanswered as of this writing. It remains unclear is if the bar will open prior to a sale.

Just me or is anyone and any place associated with “Mama Nina’s” a train wreck? Those folks should move to Allentown where I think they would fit in better and leave us alone in Bethlehem.
This article is 100% false and funny! Were do you get your information? Or do you just make everything up?
Actually the bar was listed for sale, and the owner went as far as to say if someone offered him the asking price for the business, he’d sell it. The real estate listing has been since removed, but there’s archived versions of it. Also, if you took the time to search the site, you’d see the bar opened and was removed from real estate listings: https://www.theelvee.com/?p=5736
