Souper Bowl 2012

The 2012 iteration of Artsquest‘s annual Souper Bowl event is set to take place on January 28th.  For the first time the event is being held in the Musikfest Cafe at the Artsquest Center, allowing for more restaurants and hopefully more room to roam around than the Banana Factory allowed.  This is one of our favorite events every year and since its inception in 2010 we’ve participated in the judging.  There’s always tons of fantastic soup to be had and even better, the proceeds go towards arts education for children.  In previous years some restaurants have put forth their best and it paid off in the voting.  Some favorites have been pumpkin pie soup, chilled blueberry soup, and various takes on cheeseburger soup.  The event runs from 11a-2p and costs $25 for non-Artsquest members.  You can grab your tickets online over here.
