Stoudt’s Beer Dinner at St James Gate

St James Gate at the Sands Casino is hosting a beer dinner featuring Adamstown, PA brewery Stoudt’s on April 18th.  For $50, which includes tax and gratuity, you get a four-course dinner with pairings for each dish.  The menu:

First Course
Terrine of beets and goat cheese
Arugula, blood orange oil, pistachio, Fresno chili
Paired with: Stoudt’s Karnival Kolsch

Second Course
House-smoked bacon and scallop
Beer battered onion, roasted carrot, ginger
Paired with: Stoudt’s Scarlet Lady

Third Course
Pork tenderloin schnitzel-style
Aged cheddar, morel risotto, fried egg, sweet peas
Paired with: Stoudt’s Double IPA

Dessert
Chocolate Chess Pie
Milk chocolate popcorn, pecan-bourbon ice cream
Paired with:  Stoudt’s Fat Dog Imperial Stout
