Artsquest announced three new acts for June at the Artsquest Café today.
On June 1st Splintered Sunlight, a Grateful Dead tribute band, will perform in the café. Now 10 years old, the band has a history of performing across the region. This will probably be well-attended after last year’s (and this year’s) Further Festival didn’t hit Stabler. Also, will this show mark the first time someone tries to light up inside the Musikfest Café? Tickets are $12 and $15.
Tommy Emmanuel, a Grammy nominee, will perform on June 6th. The Australian guitarist is known as one of the best in the world. He is featured in Tommy Emmanuel: Center Stage, which is currently making the rounds on PBS’s rotation. Tickets are $30 for theatre seats and $40 for the balcony.
One-hit-wonder Edwin McCain will be hitting the venue on June 8th. McCain’s I’ll Be peaked in 1999, resulting in his only single to top the top 30 on the Billboard charts. Tickets are $32 for cabaret seats and $42 for balcony seats.
All shows go on sale to the public this Friday at 10am.
