Another project that has been in the work for about a year, The Hayloft, opened last month in Emmaus.
Situated in the barn behind The Farmhouse, the restaurant/pub features two small TVs, a bar, and a modest menu. Drink-wise they have three lines with craft beer on (Victory, Troegs, and Sam Adams) and others with macrobeer and a bottle list that has the same. A few liquors sit behind the bar for basic mixed drinks. The menu has some basic offerings including paninis, wraps, hot dogs, sausage, salads, and soups that all clock in below $10.
Two small TVs tuned to sports adorn the bar as well as a radio playing WZZO. A small lounge in the front of the restaurant allows guests to relax on a couch, possibly after hitting some balls at the driving range just outside. The two side dining rooms feature lofty ceilings and dim lighting with plain wooden furniture accented by old farming tools. The atmosphere seemed kind of like a divey, yet unraucous bar with two low key dining lounges surrounding it on either side. A weird concept/atmosphere to say the least.
