Tonight is the Bethlehem Brew Works Charity Firkin Night. They’ll have a “Chocolate Lab Stout” on tap, which uses a base beer of their Steelworker’s Oatmeal Stout and infuses it with milk chocolate. All sales from this beer go to the Center for Animal Health & Welfare in Easton. The cask goes on at 5pm. We recommend you get there right around that time as the casks usually kick quickly.
Today the Brew Works is also releasing their seasonal Monkey Wrench saison. This 7% brew is a take on the traditional “farmhouse” ales that were brewed in the fall and winter months for farmhands to consume throughout their workdays. Although a little early in the season for this to come out, maybe a glass will help ease the cold weather we’ve been having lately.
