Warm Sugar in Hellertown is offering up an interesting opportunity to budding food entrepreneurs.
Next month the gourmet bakery is launching their Artisan’s Kitchen Project. It will allow bakers and chefs who want to begin selling their goods a chance to cook in a PA Department of Agricultural certified kitchen. They stated, “kitchen, café area, and retail space will be available, seven days a week, so you can produce, serve, and sell your foods.” They even offered to lend their staff members to aspiring chefs. Just some of the ideas thrown out there were cheesemakers, bread bakers, and empanada chefs. If you’ve been looking to start up a line of goods and have an idea for Warm Sugar you can shoot them an email at AKP@warmsugar.com.
We’re really interested in what this is going to spawn and kudos to them for sharing their kitchen with budding food purveyors.

I am a retired executive chef/restaurant owner. I was researching how to get the Department of Agriculture stamp. I am very excited about this opportunity. I have a full line of Italian pasta sauces that I am looking to produce. I look forward to hearing from you. Again, this is very exciting to me and if you need to reach me, you can at (917) 292-1961.
Thank you so much.
Bart, the contact info for the bakery itself is in the post. I doubt they will see your post here so you’d be best off contacting them directly.
